The Hundred Years' War lasted more than 100 years, and it wasn't just one consecutive battle, but a series of shorter conflicts. France and England were the ones in particular at war. At times, the fighting will stop because of peace arguments, the Bubonic Plague and other events. The French King made the English angry by arresting the English merchants and conflict with England’s trade. This all started because the English King declared himself the true king of France. Joan of Arc played a role during the Hundred Years' War, she make over herself and turned herself to a man. She fought and led the French to defeat the English at a battle in Orleans, but then was sadly captured and executed from the British.
